Allmost 6 months off and think I messed up with flexoril.

As the title says, I am getting close to being 6 months off from an 11 month klonopin taper.

Although not perfect I have been pretty active since stopping klonopin, no acute but have had the usual lingering symptoms, tinnitus, some morning anxiety, tiredness and aches and pains etc, all have been pretty livable though and I have worked a life around them.

About 6 years ago I had injections in my neck for arthritis that worked very well until a few moths ago when the neck pain came back. I mentioned this to my doctor a few weeks ago and asked about more injections, for reasons I won't go into here he was reticent and suggested I try Flexoril for a week and see if this helped. He said it was different to benzos so should be fine. After doing a search here for possible problems with Flexoril and finding none I took 10mg a night for 5 days, It didn't really help with the neck but seems to have flared my benzo symptoms upon stopping to worse than they have been since jumping from klonopin.

I stopped the flexoril 6 days ago and the symptoms I am having are.

High anxiety all through the night and day. Stomach is in knots and the slightest problem makes it worse.

Sleep problems. Bad dreams that wake me if I do go to sleep.

Tingling in feet and hands.

increase in volume of tinnitus

And a general overall feeling of being not quite right and being weak and trembling

Anyone had similar reaction to Flexoril and got over the effects?

As you probably understand I am very scared and cross with myself for doing this and need to understand if I have put myself back for a long time or just a short time, also I have read about people getting a bad wave around the six month mark and wonder if I just aggravated that?

I know nothing can be done but other peoples views and comments have always been a help to me.

This is really interesting to me because I have a prescription for flexeril and I have taken it many times with few ill effects.  I honestly don't like to take the whole 10mg, I usually only take 2.5 or 5mg, and after the second night in a row, I see very little benefit to taking it at all.  However, the last time I took it, the following day- morning, I was dizzy, so dizzy, and nauseous, and felt like I had the worst vertigo.

I wasn't sure if it was only the flexeril or not, but I have been wary of taking it again, ever since that.  I did feel anxious for a few days after that, but honestly I chalked all that up to just plain withdrawal, since I had used the flexeril with few side effects before that.

I was actually considering using it again for some relief from this shoulder tension I am having but I am concerned that the dizziness and vertigo would happen again.

I'm not sure what you are having is a reaction to just flexeril as a normal person or benzos plus flexeril, or just benzo withdrawal.
