globus hystericus and air hunger 3 months post benzo

It is driving me insane. That and air hunger. Gives me terrible anxiety. I know others experience this. It seems to come and go. Very present some days, then disappears for a couple days, then comes back. Ugh. What's y'alls experience with this? It's one if my more troubling symptoms. Anything chest or lung or throat related freaks me out. I'm fixing to head to the neurologist. Preparing for him to tell me, "it's all in my head" at this point.

I had the globus for 2-3 months a month or so after jumping and it went away. Not pleasant but it does go away.

Almost 5 months off still have air hunger on and off, the globus went away at 4 months.

Thanks for replying! Nice to be in the company of others who can relate. I've been invalidated so much over the past few months, being told my symptoms are just anxiety, or all in my head it's been disheartening.
