I've been off clonazepam for 13 months after 25 years on the stuff at 2.5 mg/day.  Last week I contracted a cold and have the impression that my withdrawal symptoms (dizziness, head pressure, agitation, etc.) have worsened as a result.  Has anyone had a similar experience?

Yes a simple cold revved up my symptoms for three weeks (wave). I then had a good baseline increase and some good windows.

Absolutely. I had one of the nastiest flus I've ever had in my life earlier this year, combined with benzo withdrawal it was truly horrendous.

i've had both a flu and a bad cold during WD (14 months out now).  The flu was mild but I had a high temp for a day and was too exhausted to think about hydrating well enough, which did cause a set-back.    The cold, on the other hand, was also a flu like virus which, after almost three weeks led me to the Dr for antibiotics (the doc gave me prednisone too).  l seemed to be sick so long (best part of a month), and 2 months later, I'm starting to exercise the same as I did before I caught it.  However,  prior to the cold I was exercising (walking) also because of akethesia, and I don't seem to have that level of agitation now, so have to push myself to get out and walk.  So, I'm not sure if I had a set-back or a natural progression, but I do know I have to watch my coffee intake and concentrate on better fluids I was so pleased that I could stomach coffee again at 10 months I guess I got carried away "I must be better I can drink coffee" - yeah right, not!!
