Can you heal from benzos while taking an antidepressant?

I started taking silenor (doxepin) about six months ago to help with sleep  and I'm wondering if I can still heal from the benzo's while taking the antidepressant.

I've been taking cymbalta for years and feel it has kept me out of crippling depression like some have. I'm 12 mos and almost there. Good luck

I think you can heal from benzos while on antidepressant.  I've been on Wellbutrin for many years but after being 11 months jumped, my depression is increasing along with the anxiety.  You pose a good thought on healing. 

 

I think some of us have our brains "readjust" during healing but we don't heal back to our old self because stuff changed.  While that is not bad - it's just different and a person has to do whatever to feel good in the new "normal".
