Partner away. Scared on my own.

My partner is away for a week and it is really difficult to cope without him here. I don't know how I'm going to get through. Is anyone else scared on their own?

Hi Gilly, I am sorry you are scared on your own.  You will be okay.  Keep posting here on BB.

Thanks Fiona. I tried cutting last night but I felt terrible this morning and so I took some more V. Looking back, it was silly because while Dave is away it is more stressful. Not the time you want to think about cutting.

I know you've done everything on your own. You are so strong.

Sorry you are scared, Gilly. I too get scared when my husband is gone for long periods of time. Keep posting and your Buddies will help you through it. You are stronger than you think you are! Sending love and support! :smitten:

I recently stopped working and am scared when my husband is at work. I totally understand. Can a friend come stay with you or another family member? I know that's not always an option. It's hard to be in w/d. The symptoms are unpredictable and overwhelming. It makes me feel so vulnerable. I wish you the best. We are all here for you this week.

Yes. It's called monophobia.

Something I never had before taking these pills, and another gift that keeps on giving during this medication washout process. It is actually pretty normal to feel that way when we're feeling this sick.

And the conventional wisdom would dictate that some of these medications should have helped with that fear. So much for the conventional wisdom  :o

Yes, beet not to cut while D. is away.  I didn't have to cope with your symptoms, Gilly.  I don't think I would have coped any better than you if I had.

Hugs
