Are you experiencing benzo withdrawal symptoms right now? I was advised to avoid ECT and TMS while the brain is healing from benzo use. I would also like to hear what others have to say about this.

I'm experiencing emotional numbness or bluntness I don't know if I would call it withdrawal more like damage. I have no windows or anything. I'm currently doing ect but it's not helping. I was hoping it would help the brain heal in a way it's supposed too.

Did you experience emotional numbness or bluntness before benzos? An example; I never had agoraphobia before benzos but I do right now from the damage benzos did. When my brain heals I will not have agoraphobia anymore. Each ECT treatment causes a seizure which prevents the brain from healing and it also causes more temporary damage. I wish you the best. I know how hard it is waiting for healing.

I never had flat emotions until benzos or ssri meds. The ect has brought back some sensations but no emotions. I read one story on here that ect brought someone back from being a zombie but who knows maybe there symptoms were a bit different.
