In bed again, pdoc recommended

I am in bed again. Complete lack of hope. Psychiatric nurse came round today and is going to refer me to pdoc. I haven't seen a pdoc for a long time. Think that a pdoc can only do things with medication. So I am back in bed again. My head feels like I can't think. Is it really possible to get better from this? Please help.

You can and will get better. I have had the hopeless feelings too but they pass. I'm only a few weeks off and feel at moments like the fog is lifting and some (natural) positive feelings are returning. I didn't sleep last night and feel miserable, but the hopelessness is gone. Thank you for your kindness, Mark. I really appreciate it. I will try to hold on, but I'm not going to be off V for a year so it's difficult to hold on.

I too was on 2mg of lorazepam for 10 months the last go 'round. Is this similar to your time frame? Wishing you lots of love and hope as you carry on through you titration. This is not my path, but I think what you are doing is wise and safe and that you will have moments of serenity and glimpses of joy.
