Hi!  I am now 6 1/2 weeks off my final psych med and today I have been feeling totally weird all day.  I feel like I am slowly losing my mind, like nothing is real, everything looks and sound distorted, adrenaline surges, anxiety/panic attacks, burning, tingling, numbness, vibrations throughout body and head, unable 2 concentrate on anything 4 any length of time, feeling like I am high on drugs and not taking anything, visual disturbances and hearing problems etc.  Is this a normal symptom of w/d.  I came off Remeron 6 1/2 weeks ago, Seroquel 8 months ago, Gabapentin 2 years ago and Zoplicone 2 years ago.  I am totally exhausted from the ongoing chronic insomnia with little 2 no sleep most nights and days.  I am terrified that these drugs have done permanent damage 2 my brain and I will never get better.

Has anyone else had this happen 2 them when getting off these horrendous, debilitating poisons?  Please, I just don't know what 2 do anymore.  No matter what I try or do, I still end up feeling like I just want 2 die 2 get some peace from all this suffering.

I have experienced lots of horrible symptoms when coming off all the psych meds I've tried. It takes the brain time to figure out how to function without them. I'm truly sorry it's so difficult. I just wanted to tell you you're not alone. I've had similar experiences.
