Work

Work starts again for me tomorrow and I'm so scared. I'm not even three weeks off Ativan, and I have no idea how it's going to go. I'm trying to have an open and trusting attitude, but I'm still in a lot of pain (in body, mind, and spirit). I'm also afraid the stress of work is going to set off a psychosis or something and that I'm going to lose control. I'm totally subject to the tyranny of the "what ifs" and my too fragile brain starts to believe the silly stories and the meaningless abstractions it manufactures.

 

Likely, everything will be okay and if not, that will eventually be okay too. I believe this, but it feels good to emote here with the promise that someone out there is reading and, to some extent, relating.
