How long does it take.

I was on clonazepam 3 weeks.

Did a cross over during a week.

Now I notice my body feels the w/d from clonazepam.

I am NOT going back on clonazepam my body hate them 😉. How long does it take for the body to adjust to Valium?

According my experience it depends about amount taking the drugs. How much clonazepam you took and what was the amount of Valium you crossed?  In my case I crossed to Librim but not to the equivalent. I up dosed a little in order to avoid w/d symptoms.

From 1,5 mg K to 30 mg Valium.. but I am a slow metaboliser of Valium. Maybe need to updose?

I start to feel the w/d effect 5 days after last dose of K.

I got dizzy, pain and such a brainfog and headache from hell....!!!!

Hi, as your V dose is equivalent to K, I think you should get stable. I'm not an expert in this but being in your situation I would look at maybe one week more and assess if symptoms will be less. Other option is ti updose a little but there are also examples that it does not work. All the success to you what ever route you decide to go!

If you metabolise diazepam slowly, wouldn't you need a lower dose ? Since it builds up ? Aside from the questions I could ask about doses

I abruptly stopped 2.5mg of xanax daily and switched over to 40mg on valium and felt way better than i had in a long time. Just varies I guess.

It does but it also take a long time for my meds to work. About 2-3 hours for ex Valium. And it builds up but it more that it takes longer for Valium to leave my body. It took 3 weeks to become clean after 4 yeats of use...So it was pretty normal anyway. It takes weeks for me to hit steady state....
