Anyone else have issues with worsening anxiety/paranoia and DP/DR after sex?

So, it's a little weird to discuss, but I notice after "finishing", I start to experience some pretty severe anxiety, DP/DR and paranoia. I just feel my mental state immediately begin to decline within the first 10 minutes and it has me feeling psychotic that this is even a thing. I'm questioning whether or not it's in my head, but I can't help notice that on the days that I don't "finish," I have a much smoother day. It feels like some sort of chemical change, like it brings on W/D symptoms.

 

Is there any truth to this or am I losing my mind?

It would seem possible, since that temporarily increases/changes certain neurotransmitters in your brain.  I was the opposite though, I always felt much better afterwards.

Usually it does me too, but it changed within the last 3 weeks or so for whatever reason. So much so that I began researching it before I ever knew what I was complaining about.

Perhaps it's the slight out of control feeling, that comes with orgasm - that is bothering you.  It might be triggering a backlash of anxiety.  Maybe look more deeply into what feeling out of control means for you.

I definitely notice the same thing.  I don't know if its being over stimulated but i went from enjoying it to avoiding it entirely.  it feels like everything you used to enjoy has been taken while going through this.....
