So I'm switching over to liquid titration if possible. I have some vague idea how to do it, but I want to check first. I take .36mg total ativan a day and have been dry cutting this into four individual doses.

So I would be dropping a .5mg pill into 200ml of water, shaking it around, and pitching a certain amount of ml to get to .36mg total. Then divide it equally into 4 jars?

I have a problem though. I tried this earlier today with all the equipment I ordered and couldn't get the pill to dissolve. There are clearly particles floating around in the solution. Even after shaking it continuously they won't dissolve. I don't see how these doses could possibly be even if the pill is floating around at random. It even settles at the bottom after shaking it.

Crescenlite,

Using liquid is a bit more complex than you describe.  The medication won't dissolve in water, needs either alcohol of propylene glycol to dissolve.

If you want to get the number rights for your taper, ask the Buddie Builder.  He is very good at the amounts required for a straight liquid taper with your dosage and your rate of taper.  With his method you don't need to throw anything away, but keep a solution and  draw up the amount for the day in an oral syringe.  There's a pretty active thread on this topic with many who might provide some support.

(Also there are a number of people who have had issues with doing a straight c/o to liquid. it's a pretty controversial topic around here.  That being said micro tapers have been the best for me)

Oh darn, so I have to use alcohol? I heard whole milk might work to. Though I could be wrong about that.

K is NOT water soluble.  It must be dissolved in a solvent like vodka or propylene glycol, then it can be diluted with water.

It is also lipid-soluble, so it can be dissolved in whole milk.
