Benzo Belly

Can any BB....answer what causes us to get that bloated feeling called " Benzo Belly" is it the food we eat or something to do with our brain or cns...can anyone with knowledge as to what the process that cause it...i get it no matter if i eat or dont or if i drink water even?

I don't know all the science behind it, but we have GABA receptors in our digestive track and this is why drugs that affect GABA cause stomach issues, and why when you quit you get the nasty GI issues. For me its just chronic diarrhea, although in the past I have tried going cold turkey and had much more severe pain.

My belly made me look pregnant...so big like 6-7 months...

It's just a symptom.  Mine dissapears in Windows now, but flares when I'm stressed or symptomatic.  It was one of my  first symptoms of tolerance withdrawal, years ago.  Cutting out certain trigger foods seemed to help a bit, but overall time has been the only thing to improve it for me.
