Depersonalization / Derealization ?

I'm so tired of all the benzo withdrawal symptoms...but one of the worst symptoms is

Dp/Dr...most BB say they have it during benzo use..or tapering...or post benzo withdrawal...but no one talks about if it goes away...2 questions is it caused by the benzos? and does it ever go away?...all i know is I've never had it till after starting my taper off clonazepam...and it came on after 6 or 7 months into taper...still tapering clonazepam...can someone clarify this sx...and why we get it and does it ever go away...this is horrible torture going thru benzo withdrawal is so bad but to have this too...its hell on earth...WTF is in these meds?

It is completely normal and it comes and goes. I had more at the beginning of my taper but I agree- they are the most bizarre feelings I've ever encountered. I think what kept me sane is the understanding that it wasn't me and it was temporary.

I had 7 months. Its gone. World is real now.
