1 month Xanax .67mg at night... tolerance withdrawal, cold turkey?

Hello,

 

So I've been an idiot taking 1/3 of a 2mg xanax bar (~.67mg), thinking it would was just helping me sleep, for the past 35 days. I got the Xanax off the darkweb. Within the past 2 weeks, I started to experience what I now believe are tolerance withdrawal symptoms. My main symptoms are bad GI distress, pulsing vibrations in my chest and body when I lay down, difficulty focusing, tingling sensations in hands, headaches, and of course severe insomnia.

 

But at this point, I'm not even sure if tapering is worth it than just to go cold turkey since I'm already like this. I'm booked for an assessment at a detox place by referral from my doctor tmw. I don't know what they could offer. I really don't want to take anymore.

Since you have taken the Xanax about a month, I would try a taper that lasts about the same amount of time. Should you just quit? Unless taking the med makes it worse, I personally would try tapering. It should not hurt if you just quit, though. Sorry to say it's rough either way.
