I'm sure I have this one too. All my life I've been underweight and struggled to maintain 120 lbs. Paxil rocketed me to 150 and prozac brought me back down to 135.( the first time I tried prozac I went down to 108 and my doctor didn't seem to notice.) How pathetic to just play with someones life! Oh sorry my resentment just showed. I'm stuck at 135 and forced myself to take a walk. On the way home I looked down and I was 9 months pregnant. Was anyone terrorized by this freak symptom and how long did it last? Always appreciate you!

The nurse practitioner who helped me taper said that she thought that benzos and withdrawal can affect our GI motility by slowing it down too much.  That can affect digestion and cause bloating/pain, etc.  She also thought it could lead to SIBO as well-small intestine bacterial overgrowth-which can cause similar symptoms.  Seems to be another awful withdrawal symptom unfortunately.
