The picture of the very tiny amount of fentanyl that is a fatal dose is very scary indeed  !

Where I live, we've just had a spate of opioid-related overdoses and deaths. Twenty overdoses and four deaths in less than a week. The mayor called an urgent meeting to deal with it, since it appears there might have been a fentanyl-laced batch of something. Very sad.

So sorry to hear that Lapis-that's horrible.  I hope officials everywhere lead turn this growing fentanyl problem as soon as possible.

There seems to be a need to get the naloxone kits out to everyone, in order to prevent some deaths. But the addicted people need long-term help too. It's a multi-faceted problem.
