Dr Des Spence appeared on TV recently alongside myself.  He has now written a very damning article to the British Journal of General Practice.  We are now circulating this to politicians and the media.  :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Last week a documentary was broadcast "Prescription for Murder?" making a possible link between an SSRI and mass murder.

There has been a huge backlash on social media by mental health charities and the Royal College of Psychiatrists. 

 

I wonder if the BBC has in fact been quite clever here ... they have provoked a debate which might not have happened if the programme had been less sensational.

 

RCPsych madly defending antidepressants and putting out misinformation which we can now ask them to defend.

 

And so we fight on.

Good article, short and to the  point.  I appreciate the update on what's going on there.  I was wondering what happened after that documentary aired.  It's all good I think.  RCPsych can't decide whose side their on!  >:(
