I love Jen I do but I just don't agree with everything. I can not just avoid everything I need for my system bc of withdrawal. I need Vit D bc I'm deficient it should be at the 70-100 range for women and mines at 46. I can't live in a bubble and stay away from all types of stress until I heal. I get it but life has to go on. However I thought maybe this would help some. Love all. Your 46 ng/ml is in the normal range.  Your 70 - 100 ng/ml target is quite high.  Many sources quote > 80 ng/ml as potentially toxic.

Why are you targeting such high levels?  More is not always better.  Most vitamins/nutrients follow a U shaped curve.  At too low levels you have adverse health effects.  As you increase the level you reach an optimal and as you continue to increase the level you once again start to encounter adverse effects.

I've looked at the requirements for vitamin D in some detail due to some other health issues and personally I'd consider something in the 50 - 60 ng/ml to be optimal.

I have no choice but to take Omega-3 and Vit. D3 because I have hypothyroidism. But they don't seem to bother me..
