Much better as the day progresses

Hello:

I am almost done with my Klonoppin taper after 5 years of taking 2mg.

I have mornings that are so bad that only people on this site can understand, the afternoons are pretty bad.

But as the day progresses into the evening I am progressively better.

Does anyone else feel this way?

Does anyone have an explanation?

Thank you.

Hi there

Yes I feel better late at night.. am not sure about the mechanics of it and why it occurs but I long for the late evenings..

Me too! I jumped from .06 mg Klonopin June 2nd. All through my taper and even now mornings were so hard and after work became so much easier.

Yes, very strongly from my first taper also... for me its timed with light, without fail.. Nocturnal, or allergic to daylight... It seems to be sensory, -light n sound... Runs right through me with that gut brain axis thing... But im odd...??

Windows help a lot, so I know its WD..

It may have a lot to do with our cortisol levels which are highest in the AM and lowest in the PM. I know for me it ramps up anxiety. :tickedoff:

Yes. I feel like I'm going to die every morning.

The days are ok...not good but I can manage. Most of the time.

After 8-9 pm I feel almost normal.

Agree. I'm also the worst in the morning through about 7pm then I start feeling normal-ish (whatever that is anymore) 😀

Same here. I struggle every single morning with feeling like giving up but I know it usually gets better after I get up and start my day of distraction. But when you're in the thick of it, it's so hard to think it will ever get better.

Morning are tougher for me too. Always relieved at the end of the work day and when I can crawl back (phew) into bed knowing I made it through another day, a day I will never have to experiemce again I am so glad. "Time is the healer" and I just want it to pass. So for me at night I'm just so grateful for the passing of time.
