Hi

I know that we are all different but it would be interesting to see if there is any connection between type of Benzo and the main symptoms we are experiencing.

I was on Diazepam 12 mgs.

My worst 3 symptoms are

Anxiety

Lightheadedness

Brain fog

shot-term Klonopin 1mg.

 

Worst symptoms are:

 

*Depression-hopelessness

*Anxiety-agoraphobia

*DP/DR-twilight zone brain

*Head pressure-vision issues

8-10 months of .05 xanax. Worst symptoms at 11 months are heavy, floaty, dizzy head and wonky vision.

Off now but when tapering xanax:

 

No mental sxs whatsoever - happiest I had been in 25yrs.

 

Just about every physical sx:

 

Worst were, T, dizziness, night and day sweats...but many other bad ones.

Mentals on and off depression/anxiety

 

Physicals: Headpressure, low energy/stamina, nerve pains, muscle tension all over.

shot-term Klonopin 1mg.

I was on xanax and klonopin of various doses daily for 6 years. These are my worst symptoms as well along with physical pain and weakness.

Ambien for the most part but clonazepam taper for a month as well

 

Worst sx during wd: physical, nerve pain, muscle pain, tingling

Mental: depression, looping music / thoughts

1mg ativan for 2.5 weeks total. 5 weeks valium tapering from 10mg almost immediately.

 

Mental: 

Anxiety, fluctuates but not a primary issue

depression (strongly tied to physical symptoms)

 

Physical: 

Burning skin on feet arms and chest, occasionally other areas.

insomnia, insomnia, insomnia

muscle spasms / jerks / rigidity

burning / tingling tongue and lips

extreme fatigue

flue-like feeling

tinnitus (short term, gone away)

food aversion

weight loss / GI issues / nausea

short-distance vision impairment

palpitations / atrial fibrillation

sweating

Xanax 1mg for 7-10 Months. Been off for 10 months.

Mental: DP/DR

Physical: Tiredness

Klonopin .5 to 1 mg, off/on

 

Worst sxs are mental:

Depression (unusually dark and hopeless with ideation)

Anxiety ( relentless terror for 5 months, then subsiding to random, unprovoked spikes of anxiety)

DP/DR (living in twilight zone-very frightening)

Intrusive memories, looping thoughts, irrational fears, regrets, just weird, frightening thoughts

Toxic mornings

 

Physical (all manageable, ranging from annoying to mildly painful):

Head pressure, pain, "banding," brain zaps

Icy, burning, numb extremities- arms and legs in "gloves and socks" pattern

Muscle/joint pain- legs and neck

Inner tremor, vibrations, akathisia

GI issues

Ativan .25-.5 prn for 6 months, .5 mg Klonipin for 1.5 years after I had to leave my career, tapered in 2 months with Valium. Currently 9 months out.

 

Mental (worst)

- Depression with ideation

- rumination

- anxiety from being stuck in this everyday

- Some D/Pand obsessive thinking

- Feeling like I want to cry all the time

 

Physical

- Fatigue; body and mind

- Sore neck

- Head pain / pressure
