Rapid heart rate and heart palps!

I seem to get heart palps and rapid heart rate a couple of hours after I take my morning dose of Valium, or after I eat. Can anyone relate?

  Yes I get this also.  I Notice that it is usually only in the morning and after lunch, if I eat but not at supper or nighttime dose.  Really weird.  Its like eating revs me up in the morning.

  Yes, it usually lets up after an hr. or so.  But its another awful symptom.

Regards uptick in heart rate after eating, I have heard that eating can raise cortisol levels so that may account for the increase in heart rate after eating, but that is what I have read elsewhere and not a definitive answer. Hope that helps.

I get anxiety after taking my meds.  It goes away around 10pm.  Take my k in the morning

This is a common withdrawal symptoms I sometimes get palpitations oddly at the base of my throat that can last up to 2 hours. I just accept it now and don't try to link it to anything other than bring normal and random in withdrawal. I wouldn't go down the route of oh it happens after taking tablets I must be paradoxical as some folks do as you don't become paradoxical to something you know after taking the first tsblet
