Hi

Currently experiencing lots of symptoms, anxiety, brain fog,all strange and scaring things really.

But why can't I eat?

I can get wet food down me with force like rice pudding or soups but my appatite has nearly gone.

Vey worried tbh as I've lost a stone in weight already.

My 10mg valium nightly is just not working anymore.

What can I do ?

Thanks x

Hi Spooky,

I am at 10 mg diazepam (valium) and I divide this up into 3 doses throughout the day. I find this is the only way I do not have interdose w/d.

Divide it up however you may, but I break a 10mg into 3 and take 1 dose in the am, 1 dose in the very early afternoon and 1 dose at 7pm. This is what has helped me but I don't know if this will be of benefit to you. Maybe other BB's can chime in on this?

Again, this is not a suggestion or advice, this is just what my dr suggests and what I've been doing.

Thankyou morningbee

I'm going to try that today but instead break 10mg into 4 peices and take each one at 8am,12,4pm and 8pm.would try the 3 doses but bit hard cutting a 10mg tab into 3.

I hope this helps for me and thanks for the feedback I really appreciate it.

It's 3am here and just woke up,I'm not sleeping much lately too, getting around 3/4hrs,not sure what to do about that yet though.

Main thing is being able to function and eat through out the day.

I take a 5mg piece in the am, 2.5 in the afternoon and 2.5 at bedtime. I experience my highest anxiety in the midmorning through early afternoon which is why I take my higher dose in the am. You might try taking your higher dose earlier in the evening, to allow it to enter your bloodstream before you lie down to sleep. 7pm?

This is all trial and error for me too. I follow the Ashton method but some of the plan doesn't fit my own personal experience (cutting day dose first etc). I follow my symptoms and adjust accordingly. The road isn't straight and paved, I've found. It has hills and bumpy areas. The only thing I do NOT do is updose. I maintain the taper regardless. I push through awful symptoms and ride them out. I'm not tough, I cry and moan about this process a lot but I keep pushing.

You can do this!

I got 6 hours sleep last night on doing the split 4x2.5mg and I also suffer morning and afternoon anxiety which is on off all day but better at night.

The anxiety for me is a tightness in chest heart area which makes me feel short of breath.

It's like having anxiety symptoms but with my heart rate normal.

It makes doing anything physical very hard as I'm breathless while these symptoms come and go.

I too have never updosed and will start my taper in a few weeks when I know how I'm doing starting these cirtraline.

Not long ago I did 5wks at 5mg nightly but that was stupid of me and backfired,I got severe dizzyiness and confusion so jumped straight back on and since then my symptoms has gotten worse.

Il not do that again ha ha.
