Dizziness/ vertigo feeling

Almost 2 months since jump and I've been doing pretty well. I still have tinnitus but it's been ok. Just this week I have a new symptom that has me totally freaked out. I'm getting strong dizzy / vertigo waves. It usually happens when I'm sitting down. It doesn't effect my walking or anything. Does anyone else have this??

Sorry you have it 24/7. Have you had it since tapering or did it recently come? Does anything help?

I've had it since I jumped almost a year ago, its not as bad as it was but still not normal, my vision is also blurry constant

Vertigo and dizziness are very common. One of the many things Valium can be prescribed for is vertigo.  Benzos impact the vestibular system, thus many of us experience vertigo, dizziness or other balance issues. 

 

I suffered vertigo for almost five months after my C/t in 2015.  After my taper ended in January of this year I suffered vertigo for only about four weeks, then some dizziness and balance issues until the end of my third month. 

 

Sometimes I still feel like gravity is pushing me down.  Usually when I stand from a seated position.  But it's all much better.

 

There is actually a group dedicated to those of us with dizziness, vertigo and other perceptual/balance problems. You should check it,out. It's funny to read, especially if your suffering with this side effect. You'll read a post and laugh out loud because you relate 110% to everything they just said.
