Ok, this topic might get moved but I'm on a roll.   

 

Big Pharma wants us to think that we are predisposed to taking their drugs "for the rest of our lives" so they can cash in.

 

It's the same mistake we made with benzodiazepines.  Control your diet, exercise, cheat sometimes for fun, but don't go on their crap.

 

I'm in my mid-50s and only on the stupid demon drug Valium.  Once I'm off that, I'm free from PharmZilla.

 

No drugs.  My grandfather didn't need them and he lived to be 86.  His father was 89 (healthy as a horse when he died, his death was caused by hoodlums who tried to steal his moped and beat him up.  He died a week later from the injuries but they didn't get his moped -- the tough b--stard).

Fortunately, I'm off of all daily meds now as well.  The Klonopin was the hardest to kick, however.  At any rate, I wish you the best.
