this is so random. They are always the same and appear randomly.

And today Im going to the cinema watch a war movie because my friends invited me....

I realy want my head back. Have to return to exercice. But I would like to be normal even without it.

It hits me out of no where too.  Maybe a war movie isn't such a good idea, but being with friends is!  Sometimes just doing normal things helps even if it's hard. Makes me feel like I'm semi-functional.

Beucase I thought it was gone already and wanted to do something to test them. But they started before...

My thoughts are things that I realy dont want to do and dont have nothing to do with my personality.

hope this goes away with time.

Hi Healthfirst,

I also had morbid intrusive thoughts caused by withdrawal, and I thought I was going crazy for awhile.  I'd never experienced anything like this before, and realized I had to distract myself from these thoughts in any way I could.  So, that's what I did -  began to relentlessly distract myself,  using any distraction that would take my mind off my thoughts and symptoms.  Often it was very basic - an old movie on TV, an online game, arts, crafts, household chores, pets, an errand - and when that distraction stopped working, moved on to something else. Distracting myself was serious business, and it was my main job when I felt anxious and panicky. The effect was miraculous. This was the most valuable skill I developed during withdrawal, and I would have been in bad shape without it.  Soon, I even started looking forward to my favorite distractions.

I've had that a lot lately. Constantly thinking about and concerned about my own death. It is bizarre to me because I've never thought about it so much so I know it's my brain and the fight or flight response rebooting itself- odd and scary nonetheless.

Racing, Pacing, intruisive thoughts! Its annoying as hell. I have severe anxiety disorders, panic attacks and OCD before Benzos, so now its INCREASED to the max! Shoot me now :D :D :D :D :o
