Any thoughts on valerian took one last night slept 7 hrs.

Wow, that is a pretty good improvement. Wonder if it would help me this early out in withdrawal? Keep us posted on how your next few nights go. What dose did you take?

It's called kalms 1 a night I think it's 450 mgs. I'm not sure if this is good or bad thing I think I read somewhere it affects gaba. I'm sure someone will be able to tell us. I think I will only use it when I'm absolutely desperate.

I have heard it affects GABA (I am not sure what is the mechanism), but if it helps why not taking it and diminish suffering. Sleep is essential for healing. I would suggest you can take it on and off or interchangeable with other supplements. My holistic doc is okay that I take natural supplements so I take an extract that has some valerian every week. I am in the middle of a DLMT and my sleep is okay, I still wake up in the middle of the night but I am able to go back to sleep and get at least 6 hrs a night, I am grateful for that. Seven hours is great. Good luck!

Tried valerian few nights later never worked will not use again.

Ive used valerian with great success.. try not to over do, but it does work best when built up in your system over time....

I find it very helpful when used in moderation.
