The following is my personal anecdote and is not medical advice:

 

Since the beginning of civilization, there have been various snake oil salesmen taking advantage of the weak and ill by selling them snake oils and diagnosing and treating them with various imaginary conditions. You as a desperate person with an serious undiagnosable and untreatable condition are prime prey for these predators.

 

Some of the imaginary conditions treated by snake oils are:

-MTHFR

-Genetic issues from your 23andme test

-Oxolate Issues

-Chronic Lyme

-Adrenal Fatigue

-Mold Toxicity

-Delayed onset Flouroquinolone Toxicity

-Candida

-Pyroluria

 

Some of the snake oils go by the name of:

-Methylfolate

-Oregano oil

-Bone broth

-Chlorella

-Probiotics

-B complex megadoses

-Flushes

-Vitamin B6

 

 

This is just an example of some of the things that have effected my life directly. There are many many more. For me, due to taking too much B6, especially the super powerful p5p form, I now have small fiber polyneuropathy and dysautonomia.

 

Theres a small chance that any of these supplements are actually going to help you, a good chance that they are going to hurt you, rev up your symptoms, or stress your liver/kidneys, and a certainty that they are going to make money for your chiropractor. Your best bet is to just stick with healthy foods and to take as few supplements as possible, and to stay away from alternative medicine practicioners, who are no better than doctors.

 

Whenever an alternative medicine practitioner, or the internet, or an internet support group, tells you something, be extremely skeptical about it and look up the diagnosis and treatments on a medical journal such as PubMed to see if it is validated with reputable researvch and peer review. Also, dont trust testing from nontandard laboratories such as "genova diagnostics" and "doctors data", which give bogus misleading results.
