Question for those who have ever used amphetamines...

At 4 am, it dawned on me that benzo w/d feels like being on your 3rd night up on Adderall (or any other amphetamine).  The euphoria is no longer there, instead you're using it to stay awake at your job or in class. You can't sleep, even though you're exhausted, cant eat--everything tastes like sawdust or worse--in a manic craze, starting to hallucinate from lack of sleep, startle at every noise or sensation and becoming paranoid and obsessive.

 

Except now throw in: difficulty with motor control, numbness, frequent urination, diarrhea and stomach cramps, killer headaches, either sweating or shivering, congestion, burning sensations and on and on...

 

Has anyone else thought that?

I'm using an amphetamine right now and have no idea what you're talking about.

Perhaps I should've clarified and said "abused amphetamines."

I get these adrenaline surges with panic/anxiety that feel like amphetamines. When I was really young, I used to take some uppers but stopped when I broke out all over my face. This feels like such an intense version of that. I wish it was over. It's terrible to go through, and I'm so wishing for calm!
