Obsessed with weighing!!!

So all my scales fluctuates and it doesn't read the same number every time so then I become obsessed with it so it takes me HOURS to make up my mind to just take the dose not knowing the EXACT amount I'm taking  and when I do finally take it,  i freak out and have a panic attack because I'm afraid I took too much or too little. What do y'all do?

This is just me so take this with a grain of salt.

The idea is to be developing coping skills as we taper.  I do not make any cuts until I feel stable at a certain dose. When I feel stable I know my brain has adjusted to a certain dosage along with my coping skills are are functioning well for me.

Having said this, If my brain and coping skills are fully working at a level of dosage, I am confident that a slight dosage fluctuation is not going to trip me up.

Also an unforeseen circumstance during the day is much more likely to upset my well being than a very slight dosage fluctuation!

So what I am saying is the threat against your well being is not totally physiological. Try to remember that you are developing coping skills if you have gotten this far. Start obsessing on those and you will be able to handle the slight dosage fluctuations from the scale :)

Try to weigh out 10-14 days of tablets, that way you only obsess with it every couple weeks and your dose is ready to take and your day is not centered around weighing a pill.

I think what she is trying to say is that it takes hours to get one pill right because of the flucuation of the scale.  It would take all night to get 14 pills done.  I'm having problem with the cheap scales because they are not durable and gives you an unclear answer of what you taking.  That's why I decided to order $300 scale and the brand is Tree Scales... I hope it works.

I went to a compound pharmacy they did all the mixing it was easier for me. The pharmacy also helped me with the math when I decreased a dose.

I cut all my pills for a week using a scale. Yes, it is not exactly precise but I figured it was close enough. If you can learn to trust and let go--know that a slight variance will not cause mass chaos, you will be okay.
