Any tips for keeping busy?

Ive gotten to a stage now where i find going to work way too much having to deal with people all day and all that comes with work

 

I usually can get out and play golf most days and try get gym work done and a bit of exercise in the evening

 

But in between im sitting at home all day any tips for keeping yourself busy?

I'm sort of in the same place as you.  I'm liquidating a part-time business and am thinking about filling the time.  I don't want to work either.  I don't want anything too scheduled.  You already spend a good amount of time outside with the golfing.  I'm out just about every day (weather permitting) at the parks or kayaking.  I put in some gardens this Spring and enjoy being out there and visiting the Nursery, etc.  I am planning another large project.

 

How about a hobby?  Is there anything that interests you or you want to learn more about?  I'm thinking of taking some courses (college or otherwise) but only for my information - no papers or exams!  I'm also considering some volunteer opportunities.  I've been online and joined a bunch of "meet-ups".  There are a ton of groups with every interest imaginable.  They meet at various locations to talk or participate in the activity they are all interested in.  Some involve day trips (museums, historic locales, wineries, etc.).  It sounds interesting and a good way to meet people.  Sorry if I am rambling!
