Seroquel or Gabapentin

I started Seroquel 50 mgs for sleep 4 nights ago...helps somewhat but not a full night by any means.  I was desperate. Now I wish I hadn't started it as I feel numb on it.  Would Gabapentin be a better options...I feel I am running out of options.  Remeron and Trazadone I have already taken and don't work...arrghh.. such a mess.  My Pdoc doesn't now what to do.  Sleep is the MAIN issue. I was going nuts. Pretty much tried everything.  Brain is hard to sedate now.

I'm taking 100mg of Seroquel and 800mg of Gabapentin at night to sleep.  Insomnia was killing me. I usually sleep at least 4 hours every night now.  Sometimes I get 7!  Then other nights I get none.

 

It has gotten better, but without the meds I wouldn't sleep at all.

 

I feel a little hungover in the morning, but it's better than how I felt when I didn't sleep.  Lack of sleep seriously slowed my healing and I always felt way worse those days after not sleeping.
