Social Anxiety Huge - so paranoid!!

I feel like im doing fairly well but everytime im out in public, working or even driving in a car i feel like im going to have a panic attack

 

Has anyone else experienced this??

Anxiety, in any form, whether social, generalized, agorophobia, OCD, panic attacks, etc. are NORMAL during your taper and even well after you're completely off Benzos. Its one of the most common withdrawal symptoms..

 

and as someone who has Social anxiety, Generalized, agorophobia, panic attacks natrually, before benzos, I can say that Anxiety causes MANY physical symptoms as well.

 

Benzo withdrawal, the gift that keeps on giving :laugh:

 

 

But it seems like you dont have anxiety naturally, so give it time long after your off benzos and it should pass.

I found this doctor's website and bought his book. It has helped me tremendously. My panic attacks while driving were turning into full blown agoraphobia. But I began using this workbook and using his exposure techniques and have made real progress. There's free chapters from the book and tons of good advice for free on this site.
