Nausea and vertigo. Who gets it and what do you do?

I was doing well ( as well as you can while tapering). Had a lot of stress and basically crashed and burned.  I have vertigo and nausea.  Anyone else experience this and how do you handle it?

Many thanks

Nausea and vertigo are both extremely common withdrawal symptoms.  When I was tapering, I was extremely nauseated and barely able to keep food down for several weeks.  I used the prescription medication zofran, which is an anti-nausea med.  When I got hit with vertigo, I used meclizine (found in some of the over the counter dramamine/motion sickness meds, but also available with a prescription).  Sometimes the nausea was directly related to the vertigo, and in this case, the motion sickness med cleared up both issues without me needing zofran.

Also, if you are in a legal marijuana state, if your nausea is severe, medical marijuana works wonders!  I had days where the nausea was so severe that even the highest doses of zofran wouldn't touch it.  In these cases, I used marijuana to avoid having to go to a hospital for dehydration (I couldn't keep food or fluids down for a a few weeks, which started about 3 months after finishing my taper).  I hope I didn't insult you with this suggestion, I understand it is not for everyone.  But just an FYI, if you do use it, you don't need as much as you would as someone trying to get "high", a very small dose works wonders.  However, it can cause dizziness in some people.

I don't have vertigo but have nausea probably 80 percent of the time. I live on Dramamine during the day; remeron at night.

I get both. As a matter of fact just coming out of about a four day stretch of it. I get it for about that many days every time I do a cut which is every 2 weeks. Sometimes at the beginning of the cut sometimes at the end. So annoying! I try ginger ale and peppermint candy helps me. You are definitely not alone.
