Can't stabilize. Need help!

Hi buddies....haven't done a sig. yet as I am in too bad shape and can't figure it out but the long and short of it is that I have tapered Clonazepam on and off from 1.00 mg microtapering (weigh scale) since fall 2015 and now down to approx. . 3 (appro 6 mg valium equilvalent)  Sometime back in may my sleep went all downhill and hasn't got better....plus other withdrawals symptoms.  Up until then it was all smooth sailing...I did notice in my notes I dropped a bit faster one week back then. Unfortunately b/c I didn't attribute it to withdrawals I kept tapering :-(  Now I have held for a week but I considering reinstating up to a level were I can sleep again and feel better again but don't know if it will work....I am at my wits end with sleep issues and have never had such a difficult time and it seems no matter what I throw at it out of desperation (other meds/supplements) I feel in no way back to normal...I feel so crappy with sleep loss and other withdrawal symptoms that I crazily think I should just cold turkey...I have been on the med since 2000 so  a long time and I did try getting off in 2010 in 3 months but obviously that did not work and reinstated.  Bottom line:  if I hold is there a chance I will stabilize and feel better/sleep better???  No idea how I'm going to get through this w/out driving me and my poor hubby crazy.  My other sleep meds are like sugar pills at this point :-(

PS I have been cutting approx. equivalent of around 1 mg valium per month up till now.

Yes Holdiing is usually a good thing, combined with a slow taper, guided by symptoms, once you are stable...

there are exceptions, and some need to dose correct to get stable...

There is a Long Hold Support Group that might give a better idea on holding times...

Best wishes...
