Atarax for anxiety?

Hi, I've been googling meds for anxiety and have come across Atarax which is said to be non-addictive. Does anyone have any experiences with Atarax?

Sorry Danni, I have no experience with  Atarax (Hydroxyzine) I came across this old thread you may find helpful.  If you use the search feature you will find a few threads discussing this.

I have, and it is beneficial for a sleep aid during a slow taper.  Need a prescription in some areas.  We need a script here in NY but just over the border one hour to Canada and it is OTC.

I took it during taper. It does help minimally; but will lose effect after awhile. Helped me sleep some nights. Other days, didn't do a thing. You can certainly try it.
