Strange reaction to ASMR videos

I have horrible insomnia to the point that if I don't take melatonin I will not lay awake all night. However, since it's adding to my depression I am trying not to take melatonin. I'm trying tart cherry juice which doesn't seem to do much but one thing that will naturally put me to sleep are certain ASMR videos on YouTube. However, the next day I just feel "off" for lack of a better term. It's hard to describe but something about the brain waves just makes me feel really weird and even revs up my symptoms. Does this happen with anyone else? I made a playlist of 3 ASMR videos that ALWAYS puts me to sleep before the end of the third one and I'd love to be able to actually use them. Of course absolutely nothing in benzo withdrawal can ever be freaking easy.
