Losing. My. Mind.

Health anxiety is ruining my life and I don't know what to do. I exercise and eat right but nothing is helping. i feel like I'm drowning. I'm exhausted, physically and emotionally. My family is worried. Medicine isn't an option anymore. I'm sad and I'm scared. I want a quality to my life and I don't know if it is within reach. I'm so so tired and need comfort but have I have no one to give it to me. I just want someone to embrace me and tell me that it's going to be ok. This is torture.

(Thanks for listening)

Michelle,

I hear you and you are NOT losing your mind. This is ALL withdraw. I have similar issues. Health anxiety, fatigue, horrible aches and pains in legs joints. I am a lifelong runner and today could barely do 1.8 miles. Hips and knee pain.

Looking at success stories sometimes helps give us hope for what's on the other side of all this.

Bottom line, we ALL heal!!!

Hang in there!!!  :smitten:

It's totally withdrawal.  Our aversion to pain is what makes us suffer.  Wanting it to go away & feel better right now can make you feel worse.  Just for today, accept what IS.  Not what it could be or should be.  It's going to get better.  Slowly but surely.  Three months is not that far along.  I'm at 9 months & slowly getting better.  You got through the last three months.  You CAN do this.  I like to say, it's going to get better.  It's just not better today.  And watch comedy.

Consider getting some good counselling. If you find a therapist who can appreciate what you are going through, it will make a huge difference. I would suggest a psychologist rather than psychiatrist as those are just drug pushes like other doctors. Hang in there. One day it will be over.
