Tolerance wd

I had tolerance before I started my taper and I believe that's what's causing all my horrific symptoms and not being able to stabilize. I'm SOOO sick and don't know what to do! Since I'm not going to stabilize do I just keep cutting small cuts? Bigger cuts? I updosed a few times this week and I have no relief so I don't think I want to reinstate because that probably won't help. Hell I don't know what would yall do?

For the buddies in tolerance what do you do? Do you keep cutting small cuts? Are your symptoms horrific too? Do you get relief from updoses? Are you on your death bed? I am and have not slept in 6 days!!! Anyone else? Help please! So desperate for answers and sleep!

I had very bad tolerance withdrawal. Was waking in cold sweats at 3am. Just sleeping 3 hours a night. Lost 15 pounds. I just kept cutting small and I added a small dose of remeron which solved the sleeping and appetite problems.

I had to do a few month long holds around the holidays but never updosed. I understand how updosing may help some people but in my case I think it helped me in the long run by riding out the storm.

Where are you at on your taper? What mg are you on and how much are you cutting? I've been just cutting .25mg like every 9 days or so of the Valium.

Why do you hold for so long? Do you stabilize?  How are your symptoms? I'm on my death bed.

Dropped down to .57K and horrific symptoms started.  Updosed to .63 No relief so updosed to .87 two days ago. Still no relief. So do we just keep cutting until were done?

I was in tolerance long before I started my taper.

Am very sick now, don't know why I'm so sick this week.

Haven't cut or done anything that would increase my withdrawal, just feeling like I'm getting worse.

Cut or hold that's the question.

Yes my symptoms are horrific, yes it feels like I'm on my death bed.

Updosing is not an option for me.shaking, sweats, anxiety, cant breathd, crying, depressed, can hardly walk, fear of everything.

Have been on the same dose for a long time now.

Today is probably the worst day in a month.

😩

You're not alone snowflake 💕

I guess we just have to wait out.

I'm clueless today. Lost hope.

I only had the long holds of a month for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Yes. I do stabilize. Valium in my case can be very tricky and sneak up on you. I think the lack of sleep is making things worse for you. Hopefully you can find some relief on the sleep issues and i bet you feel lots better! I'm hoping you get stabile and gain some confidence that you can do this taper.

Pitchman: V is so evil when it comes to withdrawal. Yes it does sneak up on you, the cuts.

I hold because of my mother's death. And my Pdoc is on vacation.

I did sleep on remeron. But got a bad reaction from it.

Snowflake have you tried remeron?

I know it helps so many here on BB.

I can't give much advise but snowflake I am very sick to. I have dozens of mental and physical symptoms. Everyday is different then the day before. I never feel stable. I won't sleep for days then when I finally do sleep I feel terrible when I wakeup. I was in tolerance before tapering and I guess tapered to fast. I am going to hold for a longtime. Thats my only hope.

So do y'all ever stabilize or just stay sick and keep cutting? What do y'all think about reinstating and going at a slower pace?

Sorry snowflake. I'm new here. I'm finding out it's just a lot of opinions. What works for one person could be a disaster for another. It's scary but it seems to me we are alone in this process. I hope we both find help somewhere. Goodluck to you

I was fairly stable at 14,5 mg and 10 mg.

Now on 7,5 I have had a few good days with windows, feeling okay.

But I have tapered of paroxetin and my mum just died, so I'm not stable at all now.

I would love to go down to 5 mg, since the morning dose of 2,5 mg V makes me feel horrible.

Maybe I should take it all in the evening. Since v have a long half life..well it hasn't not for me anymore.

Sorry if I can't help you more.

You probably will not get relief from updosing. You have probably hit the wall and there may be no relief until you are off for a while. I've been thru it. I agree with the other poster about a low dose of remeron to help with sleep and appetite. Cymbalta helped me with the anxiety and the DP/DR
