Migraine-like Attacks?

[Ki...]

Recommended Posts

My head pain and pressure is getting worse by the day. It feels like a migraine all day, every day. Incredible head, neck and shoulder tightness with intense squeezing. Face frozen, jaw tension, tinnitus raging, droopy left eye, blurry vision, etc.

It's terrifying and impossible to live like this.

Is there anything that I can do?

I'm with you too. 13 months out and still burning squeezing painful tingling all day. But some day the severity goes down 50-60%. I had maybe 2-3 days in 13 th months. Before just severe pain24/7. Night are getting better too. I'm thinking if night can get better my brain than time will come when it will get better during the day too.

What it helping me is ice on my head. Long hot bath before bed, in the dark. Gluten free diet, no sugar alcohol or coffee. Eating a lot of veggies and doubled up my protein intake. Low carb. Some fruits. Fruits has lots of sugar.

So sorry for your suffering. I know head symptoms is the worst for me too. I can deal with all the others but this is pure suffering. But what I said there is days ( very few) when I'm a bit better so it will come for you too.

Did you tried Tylenol? It did not worked for me but maybe it will help you.

We have to push forward and don't give in for benzo. We have to keep fighting for our life.

Let us know how you doing.

Love and healing

Vica

I just took half of a Tylenol 3 for my head pain.  It gave me some relief.  I'm also 8 months clean/sober & unfortunately, the excruciating pain I'm in requires occasional pain management.  I try to tough it out most days but it's constant.  I'm at 8 months.  This is a new symptom, too. I hadn't had migraines until recently.  My whole body hurts so bad.  Every day revolves around self care big time.  But I still try to live life & keep myself distracted.  Meditation helps.  Yoga, stretching, hot baths, therapy, crying.  I believe it will get better.  It's just not better today.  Hang in there.  Our brains have neuroplasticity.  And God can do things for us that we can't humanly imagine.  A lot can change in a week, a month or a year.
