I try not to be on here as much as possible as it sometimes can trigger things just by reading what other people go through.

However when able to i like to give my input so people know they're not alone as well.

Lately amongst feeling dizzy and light headed, i get this weird sensation that everything is closing in on my, almost like tunnel vision.

Everything seems like its getting darker, i try not to panic but stroke, heart attack and sudden death terrify me.

So if i get a heart palp - Heart attack

Facial numbness - STROKE

so tunnel vision? stroke.

:-\

went back to .25mg a day...

i feel a bit better, but i feel like i held their for to long...

any input please? even if you haven't experienced this, words of wisdom would be nice as well.

Yes, that happens to me. It's almost like I'm having a panic/anxiety attack, but I'm not experiencing any kind of trigger for it.

My vision goes to tunnel vision, gets dark, my short term memory goes bad, get dp/dr, palpitations, everything you are experiencing.

I have always had extreme anxiety, but never have I experienced such extreme symptoms unless under VERY severe stress. Tapering/stopping benzos puts me in extreme stress.

Once about 8 weeks benzo free, my extreme reaction to normal anxiety & stress goes back to "normal."

Your taper looks awesome; expect symptoms even when it's going well, but don't let it get you down. It is part of the process.

Regarding your signature...the only days that are numbered are the days of dealing with Xanax and Xanax withdrawal symptoms!!!!

It feels never-ending, but it isn't true. It really does improve and people really do heal 100%.

Keep on keeping on!!
