Jump from .06 Klonopin???

Recommended Posts

I have been taking Klonopin for about 6 months.  I have been reducing the dose every two weeks and have some side effects but they are manageable;  no sleeping, internal tremors, hands shaking, muscle twitches, dizzy.  I am planning to jump in a few days after 2 weeks at .06 but am really fearful of having seizures or terrible side effects.  Has anyone jumped at .06 or higher successfully?  Or should I cut my dose in half again and jump at .03 in two weeks?

I'm still stuck on 0.25MG (been on this dosage for about 3.5 months, been on K for a total of 8 months), but if you're having some moderate to severe side effects, what is the harm in going down to .03MG for a week or so, then jumping?

I jumped from .06 K about two weeks ago. I had been on .5 mg for 8 years. So far so good. I still have tinnitus and my sleep hasn't been great since jumping. I feel better than when I was tapering though, and I believe more healing is going on. Good luck to you!
