A benzo TV ad from America

Here is another one.

15 Ativan, alone in a townhouse rented to a kid

Don't call an ambulance, cold, alone

She knew it'd take a while

She held on tight to the dreams she had as a kid

She knew it'd take a while to kill her smile.

Cold nights spent outside

A phone book filled with named of people she would call

Will you spare your time and share your crime

Cool. 8) But It's a song and not an ad. Thanks for sharing.

Ever read The Benzo Book? It's autobiographical. The guy who wrote it spoke about his previous experiences with Valium in his younger years, and kept talking how he was glad to learn about its dangers. But years later, he ends up on 3mg Xanax a day and ends up skipping a dose one day, and wondering why he felt so awful. Then he gets online, starts doing some research and finds the Ashton manual and realizes that he'd been taking 60mg of Valium equivalent. So his doctor switches him to 60mg valium, and he gets plenty of odd looks at the pharmacy when he goes to pick up his valium. I remember him saying how defeated he felt when he thought he avoided the worst of them all (Valium), yet he realize that Valium can be used for tapering Xanax. Pretty confusing experience.

Yes I read it when I first joined. It scared the crap out of me and during my last visit home, mom asked me if I wanted to take it with me. I firmly said, No!

What scared me the most was realizing how much of a crapshoot this whole process is and how individual it all is. Just the total unpredictability of it, meaning you can take 2 different people in similar situation, put them on a same dose for the same length of time and get completely different results.

One more reason why benzos are sooooo dangerous.

Yep, since I love the Stones and it's a parody on Valium...........Unfortunately, I still think it's true.

This is an Australian TV show, but still:

That is soo soo sad. :'( I once stayed at an airbnb here in the states, and I met someone from Australia who was just 16. I saw a large bottle of Xanax on his bed side and told him" do you know how dangerous this drug is?" He said "no worries, I've been on it for years and I'm doing well with it." But the next day I asked him what he had done the night before, he could not remember anything!

I saw a presumably young person post a comment on one of the youtube videos, which was warning about benzo dangers. So, he just went and replied. "Nah, all these forums are places for people who have been on high doses. I've been on .5mg lorazepam per day for 7 months and it has helped me so much". I just pretty much gasped , as I knew nothing will convince this person otherwise, and that he might end up here some 6 months later in the introduction section  :(
