I did early on. My veins were a dark purple almost black color. It's all gone now. Definetly drink more water if you can.

I had veins that pulsed in my forehead (worse on the left side) and neck.  I also had high blood pressure at the time.  I could hear and feel the pulsing and it was very alarming.

I monitored my BP with a home cuff until I drove myself crazy and gave it away.  They're not very accurate in my experience.  I'd have the doctor monitor BP and if it's high, keep in mind that's normal.  You have to decide whether or not to treat it with meds.  I chose not to because I felt so burned by meds at the time.

The pulsing is long gone and BP has been back to normal for a long time too without treatment.  I'm 66, have normal BP, take no meds except a Parkinson's med for RLS.  I took benzos for decades.

I agree with Challis. My BP woukd spike up and down. Now it's around a steady 113/73 most of the time. Early on it got up to someting like 205/98. Pulse right at usually 55-60 BPM. If you're worried, get it checked out, but don't over stress yourself. That alone can bump up your readings. I cut out a lot of salt and sugar and started drinking more water. That brought it back in line. Of course a lot of it is benzo related too. So some of it taking time to recover.

Yes! I got that. Especially in my wrists and fingers (the veins in my fingers look black sometimes.). It made me feel like my circulatory system was about to collapse or something. I usually notice it more at night. It makes me feel like I'm turning blue or something. When I tried to jump back in December, by mid-January, I felt like I was in heart failure or something. Tests showed no issues, however.

It's getting better the longer I'm off, but still comes and goes.

Hi,

yes I have this issue, more in my hands than my feet.  Sometimes one hand they are swollen and the other hand not - god how much damage have these drugs done !!!!

Like you I have been very inactive right thu my 20 month taper - just too weak to do anything.

take care

Yes, In fact I just noticed this happening to me lately, especially in my hands. my hands look old too. I'm 40 and they look decades older. I'm really pretty sure this is withdrawal related. Drink water, if you can take short walks. I have been inactive too, way less than usual for 17 months now. It's really a bummer, I do what I can. You will be ok, try not to let this Health anxiety get to you.
