OMG - I'm in SO much pain today. Mentally - I am FINE. I feel almost perfectly normal today in fact. BUT the muscle and nerve pain is searing. I'm PETRIFIED this is permanent. My nerves and muscles feel raw and exposed.

I actually don't remember feeling this physically bad in the past. I feel like I've done permanent damage and I'm scared. My muscles keep twitching and I'm just burning all over.

Especially legs, butt and feet. I feel like I've got some horrible disease like botchulism. I'm not even kidding.

Is this happening to anyone else? And this severe???

Yep!  That's me.  Burning, achy, nervy pain in my neck, across my upper back, shoulders, down my arms (more so on my right). Parenthesis I think is the term that describes mine.

It is absolutely excruciating torture at times like today. Sometimes I think it must be a pinched nerve.  But I also recognize that the pain is at it's worse when my anxiety is high. I don't know if the anxiety causes the pain, or the pain causes the anxiety. When the Burning, achy, nervy pain subsides, most often I notice my anxiety is low. It's the chicken and egg thing. When it does subside, I still have neck pain, but it does't bother me for some reason.

Anyways, I feel your pain..............  so to speak.

I should mention that it is not always this bad. I've had times where it has turned off just like turning off a light switch. But I always worry when it is there that it will never go away.

Have you read anything about magnesium?  Some people get relief from Epsom salts in a warm bath, others find that taking chelated magnesium helps.

Just a thought.  As the others said, muscle and burning issues are, unfortunately, common.  Fortunately, they do go away, but that's not a lot of comfort at the moment, I'm sure.
