Constant hip pain anyone?

[...]

Recommended Posts

This last month I'm having constant hip pain. My hips have been stiff from my couch marathon but now there's the constant pain and stiffness. I've lost range of motion and if I try to stretch to much I get a sharp stabbing pains in my hips.  Does anyone else have hip issues?

I have had hip issues prior to wds.  Don't stretch cold.  You have do walk a little while, or take a hot bath.  Swimming is also good

Yes my hips usually hurt, especially after not moving for a while. I hope no permanent muscle damage is taking place.

I had horrible hip pain during my first wd. I once got to a point where I sat down an cried it hurt so bad. I started wearing this belt that had a pocket for an ice pack and corrected my posture. It eventually went away and hasn't come back. I figured it was yet another symptom of wd.

Hello warrior: I have had back issues for years, but for the grace of God, I have been able to manage it fairly okay. What has helped me the most are a combination of approaches that I do religiously. First of all, I would suggest that you get some scans or x-rays done, to determine exactly what is going on with your hip. In my case, it is Arthrosis (from age/genetics, a mild scoliosis in my lumbar area), and some mild bulging discs. For the last five years I had been pain free until two months ago when I fell on my back and revamped my issues, plus I am in the middle of my taper. Hip pain can also originate from the spine. So my combo remedies are: Gentle Yoga, Swimming/pool exercises, gentle walking, pilates to strengthening the core and lower back, hot baths, tens machine (from WalMart), heat before doing my exercises and then ice if needed for inflammation; changing my sleep posture with pillows. Chiropractic, some Physical Therapy, massage, of course Advil (no narcotics for me) However, the thing that is the winner for me is my "Getback2life machine". Here is the link:

https://www.getback2life.com/  (check it out, it has one of the best investments in my life. I am doing three times a day, and my back is almost healed already)

Lastly, I am adding Turmeric to my diet and drinking extra water. Trying to follow an anti inflammatory diet. Not much red meat, sugar, no alcohol. Like I said you need to find out where is it coming from? I would like to clear out that Arthritis and Arthrosis are two different things. Artritis is an autoimmune illness where as Arthrosis is not. Usually these illnesses affect the hip.

Imbalance of the pelvis, or psoas mucle issues can also cause back pain/hip pain:

Okay, I hope this helps a little, and wish you start feeling better  :smitten:
