Thanks Everyday.

I have been a runner forever and tonight my knees, hips and ankles were hurting from the first step. Also the total exhaustion is scary.

I have experienced this multiple times during withdrawal. I run and cycle daily, and some days even though I have only run a mile it feels like I ran a marathon. Muscle soreness feels like a muscle strain or pull. Some days heart rate fine on long run, next day just walking a mile heart rate goes up to 160. Hope it helps to know you are not alone, it helps me that others are fighting through this and are sharing there struggles. You are not alone

Thanks Ready.

That does help!! I went to the beach last week a couple miles everyday even though my knee was aching and head was spinning.

Tonight was a new pain. Where I, for the first time, thought that I cannot even make it through the run. That was terrifying!! My brain immediately says, "You are dying" although I have to keep telling myself that a huge part of this is withdraw!

I hope I will one day feel healthy and vibrant again.

I can relate to the dying sensation. I went through a stage where I obsessed about my morality and the mortality of others. As for the workouts, I am trying to listen to my body more and more of what it needs each day as my body heals itself, and some days it just needs rest. It's hard for me because I am a fighter and try to push harder and faster to get through pain, and some days pushing harder and faster makes my symptoms worse. I hate that we all are going through this, and I am holding on to hope that we all will come out the other side healed and while, with a bravery and courage I know I did not have before these symptoms started. Hold on artist, hope is on the horizon

Thanks man. I am the exact same way. Always been a fighter. Before I was put on this crap I would fight anxiety by pushing myself in exercise. Ran marathons, weights, etc. Just my nature. So, when the joints are aching and fatigue is debilitating I just want to push harder, but need to know how to relax.

We will get through this!!!

I like to think of the quote from Eric Liddell in Chariots of Fire, "Where does the power come from to see the race to it's end?..........From within!"
