Weird foot vibrations??? Experiences??

I think I might have seen some posts on this...not sure.

Vibrations, kind of reminding of a cell phone vibrating in my right underside of my foot. It's not painful, just scary.

This is a brand new symptoms. I am scared it might be a blood clot. I don't see any swelling, and no pain.

Any experiences? Should I maybe head to the emergency room, or just wait it out? I know, not medical advice,

just opinions and experiences to ease my mind. I know if I feel if it's dangerous to go, but guess just looking to see if this is just another withdrawal symptom.

I am nearing the end of my taper..a couple more cuts to go. I be scared when new symptoms appear.

Hi Pumpkin2005,

I have experienced vibrations as you've described in varying areas of my body, sometimes my whole body, from time to time. It's usually within a few days of a cut for me and goes away as quickly  as it shows up. I know it can be unnerving, but for me visualizing that my brain is relearning to manage things itself instead of the drug is helpful. Exercise and meditation have also helped dissipate a lot of my symptoms overall.  Best to you!

I get a funny vibration/electric shock (no pain) on the instep of both my feet on an off. I've been getting it for months. I think that's what you're  describing.  I've read it's a withdrawal sxs.

If it were me I would wait it out, but I HATE the ER.  The last two night my arms but more in my right feel really heavy and tingly vibratey like they're kind of going numb.

I hope you feel better soon Pumpkin. :smitten: This bs sucks.  :tickedoff:

Thanks Meems..I hope you are feeling a little better, well the best one can from earlier. I think i will wait it out unless knees something to indicate more than withdrawal. I am very anxiety filled at the moment, so hopeful this is just that...more crappy symptoms.

Hey, pumpkin. I had two isolated incidences of total numbness in my hands and wrists that actually woke me up from a nap that included prickling sensations. It freaked me out too. I think it can be a normal, even common, symptom, for some. It was shortly after I jumped. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

But I know you have health anxiety so do whatever you feel you need to do in order to have peace about it.  :smitten:

Okay Pumpkin-for the illiterate-that's me at times-what does bumping up mean?  Sorry if dumb question.

I'm sorry your health anxiety has ramped up.  I have that too.  Personally, I don't think the vibration in your foot is anything to worry about.

I have thought about visiting my doctor about once a month to 1.  Dispel any fears pertaining to new withdrawal symptoms and 2.  Keep him updated and documented about my progress( I have to watch my BP).

I usually see him only when I need a refill but he couldn't be better about helping me through this.  (He didn't prescribe this poison-another doc did).  Pumpkin this might be something good for you to consider depending on whether your doctor has been supportive or not.

Thanks..bumping up simply means writing something so your post stays in the upper part of the thread and hopefully people will see it and answer.

I chalk it up to withdrawals now, I haven't had it for two days!! Yay!!

I have been without a doctor since March when mine retired, but I do see one next Tuesday,  so am very hopeful!

So Pumpkin how do you "Bump"?

Forgive me I forgot your doctor retired.

One word of caution about a new doctor-or a way to feel them out about if they are Benzo wise.  I would tell him you are getting off the Benzos because of the side effects until you find out his position as his knowledge base about them.  Even though I have been with my doctor for 30 years, I felt like I had to feel him out when I approached him.

Again forgive me if I am overstepping my bounds with unsolicited advice.
