Lidocaine

Posted this elsewhere too but, just wanted to let folks know that lidocaine has epinephrine in it  :o  I found out the hard way today in the ER when they gave me a "GI cocktail"  of Maalox and lidocaine.  Had a bad anxiety attack after I got home, has ramped up other symptoms and today, I feel back in acute.  My husband found the lidocaine-epinephrine connection.  Sigh, another hard lesson...hope it didn't do more damage  :'(

Most times I've read of people being revved by lidocaine w/ epi, it luckily usually seems to cause only a short uptick in symptoms. Give it a few days and hopefully you'll be feeling better!
