Sensitivity to sugar

Recommended Posts

hey

during my wd I didnt eat sugar, milk, and other things.

In the last two weeks I feel me almost healed. Worst symptoms are gone, other symptoms that I have i brain fog, some intrusive thoughts, but they are also fading away since Im sleeping better, eating healthy and exercice.

Last day I eaten a cake with sugar and chocolate, and milk, after the dinner.

This night I slept 4-5h, had a lot of nightmares, morbid nightmares, intrusive thoughts when I was in the bed

Now I have dizziness, dry mouth, brain fog with more intensity.

can this be due the sugar?

Do you have sensitivity with sugar?

I believe I have a sensitivity to sugar. I'm definitely sensitive to chocolate.

I had some sugar and chocolate last night and I was up almost all night.

I think it's likely that your symptoms are due to the sugar. Maybe if you're going to have some, have it earlier in the day?

In the Ashton's Manuel is says that many people in benzo withdrawal have candida. I turns out I had candida, I believe I got it from benzo withdrawal. Sugar will feed the candida, thus, cause symptoms identical to benzo withdrawal.

I cut out sugar completely last September. I have never felt better. I don't drink juice or consume anything with larges amount on natural sugar. (For fruit, I mainly eat berries and green apples).

I'm wondering too, Pushthefeeling? If benzo w/d courses candida, will it go back to normal later?

It's not that I miss sugar, I've never been much of a sugar person and I've always been healthy.

But I miss the fact that I can't eat what I want, to that I have to be alerted whenever I'm eating something.

My diet for now are organic homemade food, loads of veggies and fruit without too much acid. I drink only water. (But I've always only drank water)

No coffee,  no tea. Organic bread without wheat and no pasta. I do eat wild rice and potatoes sometimes. Peanut butter and oatmilk for my smoothies.
